I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Suffern-Mahwah in Rockland County, New York. You can read the review HERE.
The fitness center was on the first floor of the hotel. It was a rather closed-in space, without windows. The ceilings were low and it would benefit from more lighting. There was, however, one nice mirrored wall.
There was also a rather strong odor of rubber. I assume it was from the flooring, but I suggest more ventilation in order to clear the air.
On the positive side, the fitness center was clean and contained 3 treadmills, 2 stair masters, 1 stationary bicycle and 1 recumbent bicycle as well as free weights. All of the equipment was state of the art. Some had their own entertainment systems. There were also televisions in the room.
